About This Blog And This Year's Countdown To Halloween

I had planned on not participating with this blog this year. Life just sometimes seriously gets in the way, and I haven't had any time for this blog all year long. What with a hectic job in the financial sector, a home schooled special needs child and other stuff--it just seemed best to skip it. But hearing how John Ronzum was going it alone this year at the Countdown site, with his daughter Daphne coming up with some awesome badges, I felt like "what the heck." Posting will be sparse. I will at least try to keep with some "Halloween" themed creepy Native music daily. Wado! Wishing every one a very Happy Halloween!!

About Me

My photo
Semetra Rhodes
I am a huge horror movie fan. But I also enjoy pushing the concept of Friday Frights far and wide. Every Friday is set with a theme of some sort and it doesn’t always have to to be straight horror. You name it: mysteries, favorite directors, crime, killer plants, zombies....killer bunnies, etc. I also like to mark Friday’s that fall on specific dates with a theme. My favorite is Friday the 13th! But , July 4, Christmas Horror, Halloween and even New Year’s (again, etc.) have been done as well. Am I weird. Yes I am! Proud to be freakish! Additionally I am crazy about the beginning history of the film industry and silents of any genre. Many know that I also write about Native American issues; since I've been trained in the food profession, I've recently started a blog spot on Native New World food.
